Our Carbon Footprint

Our Carbon Footprint

What is a carbon footprint?

A carbon footprint measures the total greenhouse gas emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, or product. It takes into account various factors such as energy consumption, transportation, waste management, and more. By quantifying our carbon footprint, we can identify areas where we can make changes.

Measuring our carbon footprint

With the help of the expert team at Greenly, we have conducted a comprehensive assessment of our operations and supply chain to determine our carbon footprint for our first full year in business. Our analysis considers every aspect of our business. By quantifying our emissions, we can set realistic goals to reduce our environmental impact.

Reducing Our Emissions

We recognize that taking responsibility for our carbon footprint is a vital step toward sustainability. Autumn Dahlia is actively implementing strategies to reduce emissions and adopt greener practices throughout our operations.

We are taking steps to reduce our energy consumption and to continue to ensure that our energy-related emissions, which were our biggest percentage for 2022 are reduced and that we do our best to remain conscious of this consumption going forward.

We are also taking steps to reduce our food waste and begin composting!

We will continue working with the experts at Greenly to find ways to reduce our emissions and work toward carbon neutrality.

Our commitment to the environment will not stop there. See our promise to continue to work toward a greener, brighter future by clicking here.
